Her home is at 763 Riverside lane. Cause of death was determined to be leukemia as an acute and insidiously rapid type. She had experienced a throat irritation for two days and was taken desperately ill Friday morning. She was taken to the hospital at noon, and died within three hours. Leukemia is a comparatively rare and inevitably fatal blood disorder which occurs sometime as acute and sometimes as a chronic disease. The daughter of Robert and Mabel Thompson Fuller, she was born at Fremont September 30, 1925. She was graduated from Ottumwa high school in 1944, and was married to Wilbur Johnson on March 11, 1946, in Ottumwa. Mrs. Johnson had been employed in the billing department at John Morrell & Co. the past nine years, and was a member of the Iowa State Police Assn. auxiliary. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Charles, and a daughter, Cheryl, both at home, her mother, Mrs. Mabel Fuller of Ottumwa, five brothers who are Leland Fuller of Bell Garden, Calif., Loren, Lowell, Donovan, and Cleo Fuller all of Ottumwa, and three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Brooks of Ottumwa, Mrs. Agnes Whitcomb of Venice, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy Engle, Bloomfield route 2. Funeral services will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Charles Thunn, pastor of First Baptist church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
