Betty was born on January 6, 1943, in Norfolk, NE., the daughter of Walter and Meta (Bergman) Hundt. Betty was raised in Norfolk and graduated from the Norfolk School of Cosmetology. Betty was born on January 6, 1943, in Norfolk, NE., the daughter of Walter and Meta (Bergman) Hundt. Betty was raised in Norfolk and graduated from the Norfolk School of Cosmetology. On May 3, 1966, Betty married Thomas Cox. They made their home on a farm south of Battle Creek. Thomas died in 1976. Following his death, Betty moved her family into Madison. There she raised her daughters. Later, Betty earned her CNA and began her 23 year career at the Countryside Home in Madison. In 2006, Betty moved to Norfolk. At the time of her death, she resided at the Westside Plaza. Betty was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a Girl Scout Leader, liked to cross stitch and garden and was a member of the M.R.S. Club. She also was a great fan of Husker Football. Betty is survived by: daughters—Barbara Drumheller, of Norfolk, Beth Cox, of Norfolk, and Tina and Cory Jensen, of Broken Bow; grandchildren Chelsey (Carlson) Pena, Patrick Drumheller, Shantel Drumheller, Logan Drumheller, Baily Kirkpatrick, Ashley Kirkpatrick and Alli Kirkpatrick; brothers and sisters—Donna and Ron Neisius, of Pilger, Mary Davies, of Grand Island, John and Diane Davies, of Pilger, and Owen and Tracy Davies, of Spring, TX. Betty was preceded in death by: parents and step parents: Walter and Iretta Hundt, S.R. and Meta Davies; brothers—Jim Hundt and Bob Davies. Burial was in the Union Cemetery at Battle Creek, NE.
