Description	:	Betty Jean DuBose was the daughter of Selma T. Harrison and the granddaughter of Elizabeth and James Harrison of Seneca. Betty was the Branch Librarian of the Seneca Public Library from 1968-1995 where she helped countless people find the perfect book. Nothing pleased her more than a research question and she was masterful in finding just what her patron needed. She was a faithful member of Seneca Presbyterian Church for more than 65 years where she served in numerous leadership roles and as a Sunday School teacher. Harrison and the granddaughter of Elizabeth and James Harrison of Seneca. Betty was the Branch Librarian of the Seneca Public Library from 1968-1995 where she helped countless people find the perfect book. Nothing pleased her more than a research question and she was masterful in finding just what her patron needed. She was a faithful member of Seneca Presbyterian Church for more than 65 years where she served in numerous leadership roles and as a Sunday School teacher. She also worked faithfully over the years to grow and maintain the Seneca Presbyterian Church Library. Outside of her family, Betty's passion was playing tennis. She was a member of Spindle Tree Racquet Club and found great pleasure playing with her longtime doubles partner Lucille Meyers. She and Lucille won numerous national and regional titles over the years and seemed to have an uncanny ability to know just where the other was going to hit the ball. Betty was also a very competitive Scrabble, Canasta and Bridge player and enjoyed these activities with her friends over the years. Betty is survived by her sons Bob (Debbie) and Gary (Julie) of Seneca and four grandchildren who she adored, Anna Gause (John), Brock Sparks (Jarred), Sarah DuBose and Alex DuBose. She is also survived by her brother, J. B. LaBoon and sister, Pat Thornal. She is predeceased by her mother and grandparents, her husband, Raymond and her son, Edwin, and her sister, Nancy Buchanan and brother G.B. LaBoon, Jr.
