Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Chet Ryan Mortuary and Cremation Services, 708 Fifth St., in Nevada, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Betty Jean Lough was born Dec. 22, 1920, in Nevada, to Samuel and Ella (Brooks) Lough. She enjoyed collecting pincushion dolls, antiques and portraits of ladies. She is survived by one sister, Jane Lough, of Nevada, and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother. A memorial fund has been established. Published in the Ames Tribune from 2/29/2008 - 3/7/2008.
