She attended country school near Clinton and graduated from Goose lake High School. Betty married her loving husband, Dale Eickert, on October 14, 1950. Betty was a homemaker devoted to her husband and family. Betty was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Andover, Iowa where she was a member of Alter Guild, Women's Circles, a Sunday School teacher, Bible School teacher, and member of the Church Choir. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was very proud of all of her family. Her family will miss her sense of humor and unconditional love. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, a son, Todd Eickert, grandchildren Andrea and Christopher Lange, her parents, brothers Frederick, Leonard, Marvin, Wayne and Ronald, and her sisters Helen and Evelyn.
