Description	:	Betty Jeanne Vance, 87, formerly of Milton died at 1:05 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Keosauqua Health Center (formerly Good Samaritan Center) where she had resided since August, 2014. She was born June 4, 1928 in Milton to Ercel James and Iowa Veatch Andrews and married Wyatt W. Vance January 26, 1947 at her parents’ home in Milton. Wyatt died July 24, 2004. Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca McDanel (David) of Ottumwa, Patricia Kleiboeker (Mark) of Kansas City, MO and Sheila (Tim Griem) of Cedar Rapids and a brother, ellis andrews (Beverly) of Des Moines, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, Joan Ogden of Fairfield, Anita Andrews of Chula Vista, CA and Carolyn Burrell (Bob) of Milwaukee, WI, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a son, James Hollis Vance and a brother, Wayne Andrews. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M Saturday February 27, 2016 in Grace United Methodist Church, Milton with Pastor Mary Kathryn Hart and Rev. Richard Eis officiating. Visitation with family present will be 10-11 A.M. Saturday at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton. Memorials to Grace United Methodist Church or Sunnyside Cemetery may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 22 Pinehurst Circle, Ottumwa, IA 52501.
