A native of Union, she was daughter of the late Boyd and Stella Rhymer Tucker. She was a member of Mon-Aetna Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Greenville Junior College and was a retired LPN at Wallace Thomson Hospital. She was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are three daughter, Cheryl D. A native of Union, she was daughter of the late Boyd and Stella Rhymer Tucker. She was a member of Mon-Aetna Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Greenville Junior College and was a retired LPN at Wallace Thomson Hospital. She was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are three daughter, Cheryl D. McNeace of Union, Gale Dent of Louisville, Ky., and Karen Jones of Hixson, Tenn.; and a grandson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Mon-Aetna Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Benny Greene and Tom Tucker. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. The family is at the home of her daughter, Cheryl D. McNeace, 100 McNeace St., Union. Memorials may be made to Mon-Aetna Baptist Church Building Fund, 1431 Lockhart Highway, Union, 29379; or to the American Diabetes Association, South Carolina Affiliate, Suite 311, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Columbia, 29204.
