Description	:	Betty June Sours, age 86, of Luray, passed away on March 8, 2014. She was born to the late Floyd and Ethel Mae Fox on March 3, 1928, in Luray Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlen R. Sours Sr.; and sons Gerald and Roger Sours. Betty June was a life-long and active member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church serving as church secretary for more than 35 years and was a member of the Women’s ELCA. Read More	Betty June Sours, age 86, of Luray, passed away on March 8, 2014. She was born to the late Floyd and Ethel Mae Fox on March 3, 1928, in Luray Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlen R. Sours Sr.; and sons Gerald and Roger Sours. Betty June was a life-long and active member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church serving as church secretary for more than 35 years and was a member of the Women’s ELCA. Family and friends enjoyed her delicious meals and warm hospitality. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and was cherished by all. Betty June is survived by three children, Harlen R. Sours Jr. and wife Cheryl, Pamela Nichols and husband Larry, and Rex Sours and wife Mari Evelyn. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Carolyn Richards, Duane Sours, Faith Carter, Charles Sours and Luke Sours; and eight great-grandchildren, Tommy and Holly Richards, Emily Sours, Lance and Jennifer Carter, Kyle Sours, and Jacob and Travis Sours. The family received friends at the home of Betty June and on Tuesday, March 11, at the Bradley Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at the Morning Star Lutheran Church. Donations in her honor may be made to the Morning Star Lutheran Church or to the Luray Volunteer Rescue
