Description	:	Betty L. Brewer passed away January 24,2011 at her home in Sebec. In her final days she was surrounded by those who loved her. She was born, August 23, 1942, in Dover- Foxcroft, the youngest child of Donald N. and Freda (Brawn) Herring. Betty was the beloved wife of Darrell L. Brewer, whom she married, March 3,1961. In their 50 years of marriage she was his steadfast companion during their many adventures in life. Brewer passed away January 24,2011 at her home in Sebec. In her final days she was surrounded by those who loved her. She was born, August 23, 1942, in Dover- Foxcroft, the youngest child of Donald N. and Freda (Brawn) Herring. Betty was the beloved wife of Darrell L. Brewer, whom she married, March 3,1961. In their 50 years of marriage she was his steadfast companion during their many adventures in life. For 50 years she served faithfully as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and looked forward to the Bible's future earthly promises. She was often known to be quoting a poem or long ago learned line with one of her brothers or sister. She found peace while working in one of her many gardens over the years, and loved feeding many wild animals in her own little paradise. Betty dearly loved all her family, and was a staunch supporter of each and everyone. She rejoiced greatly with them or felt their pain just as deeply during their trials. Betty was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Edward Herring. She is survived by her husband, Darrell, her two daughters, Angela Rockwell and husband Russell of Sebec, Jennifer Brewer of Dover-Foxcroft, and son Stephen and wife Rebecca of Dexter,her sister, Shirley Mayo of Dover-Foxcroft and husband Murray,her brother,Merle Herring and wife Audrey of Guilford, and sister-in-law, Mickey Herring of Brewer. Betty is also survived by her granddaughters, Brittany Perkins and husband Jonathan of Milo, Alyssa, Kylie, and Sarah Brewer of Dexter, Shandi Gilbert of Brownville Junction, Adrienne Rockwell of Orneville,and great grandsons, Zaine and Bryson Gilbert, and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes there will be a family graveside service in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Milo.
