Mrs. Mallett was born in Union, April 18, 1932 a daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Waldrop Price. She was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church and retired from Conso Products. Mrs. Mallett was born in Union, April 18, 1932 a daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Waldrop Price. She was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church and retired from Conso Products. Mrs. Mallett was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Cynthia Mallett of Union; a son: Rick V. Mallett and wife Debbie of Union; four sisters: Margie Cope, Marie Atkinson, Minnie McCraw and husband Kenneth, and Lillie Garner and husband Julian all of Union; one brother: Lawrence Price and wife Shirley of Union; four grandchildren: Donny Bobo and wife Debra, Vonda Inglett and husband Russ, Rick Mallett II and wife Gen, and Rocky Mallett; three great-grandchildren: Caleb and Zoie Inglett and Clayton Bobo. Mrs. Mallett was predeceased by a daughter: Vickie Darlene Mallett, a sister: Frances Henderson, and three brothers: Arthur, Earl and George Price. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2009 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Branch and Mr. Gerald Eaves. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 801 South Boyce St. Union, SC 29379.
