On Nov. 20, 1942 she was united in marriage to John A. Orr. To this union, three daughters were born, Ardeth Ann, Merry Elizabeth and Betty Sue. Read More	Betty Mae ORR was born May 7, 1926, in Lacelle, Iowa, to Roy and Nellie Crabb and passed on while residing at Heritage Club of Lakewood, Colo., at the age of 84. On Nov. 20, 1942 she was united in marriage to John A. Orr. To this union, three daughters were born, Ardeth Ann, Merry Elizabeth and Betty Sue. They moved to Lenox, Iowa, in 1954 and owned and operated a Phillips 66 Station and Dairy Sweet until moving to Loveland, Colo., in 1968 where they started Tour Ice and later Mister Ice. John passed away in 1975 and Betty continued the ice business. Later she worked in retail until she retired at the age of 72. She took great pride in her daughters and grandchildren. Betty was a loving mother, an excellent homemaker, accomplished seamstress; she enjoyed needlework, puzzles and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Leaving to mourn her are daughters, Ardeth and Hugh McCall, Merry and John Henderson, Sue and Tom Landin; sister, Verna Chew; grandchildren, Chad and Lisa McCall, Damon and Suzanne McCall, John and Terri Henderson, Heather and James Rice, Joshua and Kim Henderson, Megan and Louis Karahalios, Kiley Landin; great-grandsons: Parker, Spencer, Hunter Rice; Connor and Alex Henderson; Tristen and Grant McCall; great-granddaughter, Taylor McCall. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nellie Crabb; husband, John Orr; brothers, Ralph, Harold, Kenneth, Donald; sister, Hazel. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Allnutt Funeral Service. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Allnutt Funeral Service followed by a reception. The interment will be at Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or Hospice of Saint John in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
