Betty Marie was born on February 1, 1925 in Hurley, SD, to Irvin and Emma (Cairy) Baker. She was raised and baptized in Hurley, SD where she also attended grade school and Hurley High School. She was employed at Gurney's working in the office. She was a very active member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Post #791 in Yankton for over 45 years serving as president from 1969-1971 and then becoming the Treasurer. She was a very dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her memory will always be cherished by her son, Ralph (Carol) Reisner of Yankton, SD; three grandchildren: Lori (Tommy) Trau and Tonya (Chris) Davison, all of Virginia Beach, VA and Terry (Amanda) Reisner of Sioux Falls, SD; eight great-grandchildren: Zach and Emma Trau, both of Virginia Beach, VA, Jessica, Amanda, and Christina Davison, all of Virginia Beach, VA, Eli, Garrett, and Deacon Reisner, all of Sioux Falls, SD; two great-great-grandchildren: Molly and Gwendolyn Davison, both of Virginia Beach, VA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fred, her parents, and three sisters: Beverly St. Martin, Bonnie Berardi, and Shirley Eidsmoe.
