She is survived by her husband of 59 years Eugene "JJ" Hoosack and sister, Gloria Reed. Betty's children include daughters, Sandi Trader and her husband Bobby of Chesapeake, Debbie Jones and husband Mickey of Virginia Beach; and son, Michael Hoosack and wife Paula of Richmond. Her grandchildren are Kelli, Kimmie and Krista Hoosack, Lindy Jones and Corey Trader.
