Read More	Betty Marie (Oenning) Bielenberg Lueck ===== Betty Marie Bielenberg Lueck, 89, a longtime Uniontown resident, died Thursday evening, July 31, 2003, at Life Care Center in Lewiston. She was born Feb. 19, 1914, at Uniontown to Barney and Magdalena (Schaaf) Oenning. She grew up on a farm near Uniontown, attended St. Boniface Academy, and graduated from St. Boniface High School. She worked as a housekeeper and nanny for several area families until her marriage to Joe Bielenberg May 16, 1945, at Uniontown. They lived in Genesee for a time before moving in 1951 to near Uniontown where they farmed until their retirement in 1963 when they moved into Uniontown. She babysat over the years and was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and St. Boniface Altar Society, as well as the Colton Grange. Betty enjoyed crocheting, gardening and canning, also sewing and could "patch anything" and make it look good. Betty was an accomplished quilter and had made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren. Mr. Bielenberg died in 1978. On April 23, 1988, she married Harvey Lueck at Uniontown. He died in 1996. Surviving are her daughters, Sister Barbara Bielenberg, OSB, of Spokane and Shirlene Hodge of Clarkston; sons Ralph of Genesee, Jim of Moscow, Harvey of Stanwood, Wash., and Gary of Spokane; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers Joe Oenning of Uniontown and Rey Oenning of Tacoma; and sister Emaline Doane of Marysville, Wash. In addition to her husband's, two brothers, Bernie and Harold Oenning, and three sisters, Rose Fox, Frances Buffalo, and Wilma Johnson, preceded her in death. The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Boniface Endowment Fund, Colton-Uniontown EMTs, or the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood. Lewiston Morning Tribune (ID) August 3, 2003 Page: 4C
