Read More	Betty Craig, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Kearney County Health Services-Hospital, Minden, Nebraska shortly after being admitted. Betty was born on January 11, 1914 in Minden, Nebraska to Fayette Farington and Josephine (Boicourt) Rogers. Betty grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School with the class of 1932 then graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1938. She taught school at Country School District #52 near Minden for three years. On May 10, 1940 she married Eugene Craig. In 1942 they moved to Iowa and then back to Minden in 1956. Gene died in 1990. Betty enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and other card games. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Betty also enjoyed visiting with friends and engaging in an active political conversation. Survivors are: sons, James Craig of Minden, Nebraska and Thomas Criag of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Julie Hesting and husband, George of Lakewood, Colorado; grandchildren, Angela Bruckner, Amy Elliott and husband, Jim, Clint Hesting and wife, Bobbie, Tim Hesting, Lori Lee and husband, Kevin and Robert Craig; great grandchildren, Madisyn and Kaylee Hesting, Jeremy Craig, Andrew and Alex Mitchell and Faith and Logan Elliott and a host of family and friends. Betty is preceded in death by; husband, Eugene Craig; grandson, Brent Bruckner; sisters, Judith Weller and Janet Fleming and brothers, Noyes and William Rogers. Burial was in Minden Cemetery, Minden, Nebraska.
