Born in Anderson County, daughter of the late William Lee and Lizzie Ann Corbin Capps, she was a member of Smith's Grove Baptist Church. Surviving also are four sons, Lake, Melvin, and Earl Gilstrap of Easley, and Doyle Gilstrap of Pensacola, Florida, five daughters, Mrs. Fleda Forrest, Mrs. Margaret Youngblood, Mrs. Della Waldrop and Mrs. Maxine Stephens of Easley, and Mrs. Gladys Jones of Charleston; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Gilstrap of Easley; 20 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home, with burial in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home of Mrs. Della Waldrop, Route 8, Hollingsworth Drive, Easley.
