Description	:	COLUMBUS: Beulah L. (Sonius) Ulmer was born January 24, 1923 in Spencer (Clay County), Iowa, the youngest of eight children of Harm and Marie (Beck) Sonius. She passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1941. Prior to, and immediately following, graduation she was employed as Secretary/Bookkeeper at Arnold Motor Supply. On September 24, 1942, she was united in marriage to Wayne F. Read More	COLUMBUS: Beulah L. (Sonius) Ulmer was born January 24, 1923 in Spencer (Clay County), Iowa, the youngest of eight children of Harm and Marie (Beck) Sonius. She passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1941. Prior to, and immediately following, graduation she was employed as Secretary/Bookkeeper at Arnold Motor Supply. On September 24, 1942, she was united in marriage to Wayne F. Ulmer, of Lemert, Ohio, in the parsonage of The Grace Methodist Church, in Spencer. In the Spring of 1943, Beulah joined her husband in Frederick, Oklahoma, where they remained until his discharge from the Army Air Force in November 1945. During this period she was employed by Civil Service as Secretary to the Base Operations Officer, as well as Court Reporter. She made her home in Columbus, Ohio since 1946. In 1947 Beulah was employed by Lennox Industries Inc. as an Executive Secretary, which position she held until her retirement in 1987. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne (1995), her sisters, Bernice (1945), Gladys (1995), Alice (1996) and Evelyn (2002); also her brothers, Harold (1924), Wesley (1986) and Donald (1999). She is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. She was a long-time member of the Worthington United Methodist Church, Worthington, Ohio and the Upper Arlington Senior Center, Upper Arlington, Ohio. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Schoedinger Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Spencer, Iowa.
