Mrs. Simpson died Saturday. She was born in Hooper, Wash., and grew up in the Hooper/Riparia area. She married Delbert Lloyd, and the couple made their home in Hooper for a few years before moving to Colfax. She married Delbert Lloyd, and the couple made their home in Hooper for a few years before moving to Colfax. She married Ira Simpson in 1965, and they worked in their meat market until retirement. Mrs. Simpson was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and the Eagles Auxiliary. Her husband preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons; two stepsons; a sister; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. ---------------------- Funeral card: "What is important is the quality of Beulah's life. A life shaped during the Great Depression. Many years of hard work. Beulah saw the good in others. She was not a negative person. Her marriage with Ira was a real blessing. Loved her grandchildren and greats. Beulah loved her church (Molly's cards) She wanted to "go home" to Bunny [Bernice Marie Lloyd McNeilly, her daughter] Now our friend has gotten her wish.
