She was a member of Andrews Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served in the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and Women’s Ministry. She was a devoted wife, a beloved mother, and cherished grandmother. Her greatest joy and her life’s dedication were to her family and her church family. (Penny) McCants, Jr., and Stephen Rodney (Tracy) McCants; seven grandchildren, Melanie Gibson, Stephanie (Jeff) Daniels, Rebecca (Thomas) Rotan, Kyle (Heather) McCants, Kirk McCants, Rod McCants, and Robert McCants; nine great-grandchildren, Morgan, Bryce, Mackenzie, Connor, Ashlyn, Addison, Jude, Kallie, and Korlie; a sister, Opal Taylor; and loved like a sister, Jeanette Browder. She was predeceased b: her parents; her husband; three brothers, Henry Elliott, Johnnie Elliott, and Connie Elliott; and four sisters, Thelma Skipper, Mamie Lee Cannon; Myrtis Elliott, and Carmen Weaver. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014, in Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial,directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
