Read More	Much of the information on this memorial was provided by FAG contributors Ron & Ann Miller White #46933224: Beaver Crossing Times – 9/13/1949 Mrs. Beulah Victoria White, nee Bissey, was born November 6, 1896 near Beaver Crossing, Nebraska and died September 7, 1939 at the age of 42 years, 10 months, and 1 day. She grew to womanhood on the farm near Beaver Crossing and received her education in the Beaver Crossing schools. Three years of her life were given to teaching in the public schools. On February 6, 1918, she was married to George E. White of Milford, Nebraska, with whom she made a happy, Christian home for more than 21 years. To them, seven children were born, all of whom, together with a loving husband, survive. She gave her heart to Christ in early youth and united with the Beaver Crossing Evangelical Church on April 27, 1913 under the ministry of Rev. T. C. Marks. When she, with her family, moved to Custer County, Nebraska in the spring of 1936, she transferred her church membership to the Congregational Church of Arcadia where her membership remained until she transferred to the church Triumphant. She was a faithful and devoted member of the church and held many positions of leadership and responsibility. She leaves to mourn: a loving husband; seven children: Mrs. Erma Allan of Twin Falls, Idaho; Charles E.; Robert Eugene, George Oliver; Lois Ellen; Edna Leona; and Joyce Nadine, all at home; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bissey of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; a sister, Mrs. Orlen Watson of Chester, Nebraska; two brothers, Rev. Charles Bissey of Denver, Colorado and Oliver R. of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, an aged grandfather, J.J. Pounder of Tulsa, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, September 9, 1939 at 2:00 at the Evangelical Church of Beaver Crossing by Rev. Walter Lens and Rev. H. A. Hagemeier of Greeley, Colorado. Burial was in the Beaver Crossing, Cemetery. From Out of Town: Among those who attended from out of town were John Allen and family; Charles Allen and family all of Fairbury; Ed White and children; and John White and wife, all of Arcadia; Mr. and Mrs. Orlea Watson and family of Chester, Nebraska; Harvey Allan of Twin Falls, Idaho; and many other relatives and friends from Fairbury.
