Read More	Beverlee Jean Halverstadt Frank, age 81, of Fergus Falls, MN was promoted to her heavenly home on June 19, 2013 at Pioneer Care in Fergus Falls Bev was born on April 15, 1932 in Casper, Wyoming the third of four children of John and Dorothy (Elliott) Halverstadt. John was an oil driller during the wildcat days of the west so the family moved after every well was drilled and Bev attended school throughout Montana and Wyoming. She had three siblings Lee (deceased), Shirley and Joanne (deceased). The entire family developed the ability to make friends wherever they went, so Bev has friends and loved ones through the western states. Bev married PFC Melvin L. Frank in January of 1949 in Joliet, Montana. They bore a son, Melvin L Frank II in January of 1950 in Billings, Montana and later moved to Casper, Wyoming where they first became involved in Christian Ministry. Bev married before completing High School so did this through the mail. Since no one told her she couldn’t, when her husband became ill with cancer, she completed a full year of coursework at Casper College in three months with a 4.0 average. The family later returned to Billings where her husband died in 1957. After one more year of college she became a forerunner special education teacher in Billings, Montana where she specialized in helping children with the most challenging behaviors succeed. She became a foster parent for special needs children and was also an ordained elder in the Open Bible Church. Along the way she completed her BS, MS, and EdS in behavioral education, all with honors. In 1967 she married Arnold Snyder, an entrepreneur, builder, artist, public servant and pilot. Together they enjoyed a peaceful life until Arnold’s death from heart disease in 1978. A year later she married retired farmer Gaylord Bruckhorst in Billings Montana. Together they ranched and she helped troubled children discover their purpose. This continued until full retirement when they developed their calling as motor home enthusiasts and discovered much of North America. They remained married until 2007 when the marriage dissolved following several brain and circulatory events. Bev moved to be surrounded by family in Fergus Falls in 2007 where she worked with Lutheran Social Services and as Activities Director for those with dementia at Hospitality House on Dayton Lake. Remaining faithful to her lifestyle of prayer, generous ministry support and annual through the Bible reading plan Bev lived her life according to Rev 12:11 and overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of her testimony and loved others above her own life until death. Beverlee is survived by her son and daughter Melvin and Mary Anne Frank, Granddaughter Kirsten Frank Holzner, husband Marcos and children Lucas, Hans, Betsy and Katie, Granddaughter Elysia Larson, husband Ethan and children Gretchen, Peter, Lizzy and Amy, Granddaughter Sarah Brunn, husband Jeremy and children Malaina, Isaac, Max, and Jack, Granddaughter Anna Everett and husband Erik, Granddaughter Melissa Frank all of Fergus Falls MN, sister-in-law Helen Halverstadt of Missoula, MT, as well as her dear forever older sister Shirley Spaulding of Livermore, CA, and many nieces and nephews. Because of her love Bev is also survived by hundreds of successful students and wonderful friends. Beverlee will be buried next to her husband Melvin in Billings, Montana.
