She was preceded in death by her father, Carl (Chuck) Bohlken and her husband Donald Bassett. Beverly A. Bohlken was born March 23,1951 at the John McDonald Hospital, Monticello She was the daughter of Carl and Audrey Parks, Bohlken. Bev graduated from the Monticello Community Schools with the class of 1969. She then went on to attend Nursing School in Burlington. Bev then went on to work at the U of I Hospitals in Iowa City. She later attended Kirkwood College and received an AA degree in Horticulture. Beverly Bohlken and John Morgan were married at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Monticello. John was serving in the United States Air Force and the couple lived in Texas, South Dakota, Kansas, Denver Colorado and Germany. They later divorced. Beverly Bohlken Morgan married Donald M Bassett on August 20, 1992 at Hope Lutheran Church, Aurora, Colorado. The couple lived in Las Vegas and California before moving to Monticello. Don died on October 2,2001. Bev had been a resident of the Rehabilitation Center for the past year.
