Description : Bev was born in Andover, Iowa on April 15, 1933, the daughter of Alvin and Alvina (Gehlsen) Petersen. She graduated from Miles High School. Bev married John Boland on May 14, 1955 at St. Mary’s Church in Clinton. She had worked at the Curtis Company and later at Kline’s, Sweetheart Bakery, and at Woody’s Rendezvous. Bev was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, the former Odeon Club, and had been a member of the Board of Directors of the Nee Hi’s.
