Over the next two... Read More	BEVERLY J. CLARK 1939-1994 Beverly J. Clark, 55, died at her home in Richland, Washington on June 25, 1994, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 9, 1939, in Watertown, South Dakota to Freeman and Ora McInroy. She was a 1957 graduate of Watertown High School. ON May 31, 1959, she married Donald E. Clark. During the next seven years, they lived in Vermillion, South Dakota, Ames, Iowa, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Macomb, Illinois, and became parents of two children, David Orris Clark and Deborah Ann Clark. Over the next two to three decades, they traveled extensively and lived in several different communities, including Macomb; Richland, Washington, Miller Place, New York; Columbus, Ohio; and Braunschweig West Germany. The most recent of their four moves to Richland was in 1989. Bev enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and playing the piano and singing songs. She was a very loving and tirelessly supportive wife and mother. She was an active member of the Macomb Community Theater and participated in various plays and musical productions. Bev was also very interested in history and genealogy, and she enjoyed personally tracing some of her family's roots to Scotland. She was very active member in both the Kennewick and Richland Newcomers organizations and always enjoyed social activities ad playing cards. She was an accomplished seamstress and a professional interior decorator, having managed her own retail businesses in Illinois, Washington New York and Ohio and then working most recently for Benjamin's in Richland. Among her favorite hobbies were bird watching and reading historical novels. She was a member of the Tri-Cities Rose Society. Bev had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Richland's Central United Protestant Church. Bev was an ever friendly, cheerful, compassionate, and loving person. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Donald Clark, son David Clark and daughter, Debbie Clark, all of Richland; brothers Freeman McInroy of Burnsville, Minnesota and Orris McInroy, of Tacoma, Washington; and granddaughter Amanda Clark of Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. A memorial service will be held for Bev at Central United Protestant Church in Richland at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28. Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Watertown, South Dakota on Friday, july1, followed by burial at the mount hope cemetery. Mueller's tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick, Washington and the Shaw-Messer Funeral Service in Watertown are in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions for Bev may be made to the American cancer society tri-cities unit, P.O.Box 277, Richland, Washington 99352, or the tri-cities chaplainry hospice, 7525 w. Deschutes Place, 2A, Kennewick, Washington 99336.
