Description	:	Beverly T. Doughty, 74, a longtime resident of Meaderboro Road in Farmington, died June 26, 2008 at SunBridge Care of Wolfeboro. Born April 27, 1934 in Barre, Vt., daughter of the late Levi P. and Freda B. (Sherman) Currier, she resided in Farmington for many years. She had been a shoeworker, a fancy stitcher at several local shoe shops, including Colby Footwear, and was a seamstress, making a lot of the children's clothes in their younger years. Doughty, 74, a longtime resident of Meaderboro Road in Farmington, died June 26, 2008 at SunBridge Care of Wolfeboro. Born April 27, 1934 in Barre, Vt., daughter of the late Levi P. and Freda B. (Sherman) Currier, she resided in Farmington for many years. She had been a shoeworker, a fancy stitcher at several local shoe shops, including Colby Footwear, and was a seamstress, making a lot of the children's clothes in their younger years. Beverly was a member of the former Crown Point Grange and was a former Superintendent of the Grange Exhibits at the Rochester Fair. She was a great cook and enjoyed making pies, beans and biscuits for many of the Grange suppers. She also enjoyed flower gardening and loved going to yard sales, often picking up something she thought someone else could use. Widow of the late Stanley W. Doughty, who died in 1996, she is survived by six children, Lyle Doughty of Farmington, Deborah Cook of Raymond, Kelly Huntress of Farmington, Tina Church of Milton, Darlene McGuire of Farmington and Roxann Clark of Rochester; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. Beverly's family extends special thanks to all of the staff at SunBridge for their loving care and compassion during the last two years. There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a Graveside Service on Monday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Kimball Cemetery on Meaderboro Road in Rochester with the Rev.
