Description	:	"Beverly served in the Civil War. He was a Captain in Company A of the 76th Regiment in Ohio. The Civil War is important information. One of Beverly's brothers, George L, also served, he was wounded and mustered out as an invalid, he survived his wounds for 10 years after the war. Beverly and George also had 11 cousins that served. Four cousins from one family enlisted, and all but one died during the war, one was Thomas Jefferson Lemert who died in the Andersonville Prison in GA, he died of starvation.
