Billee Diane Miller (Greene), 63, passed away unexpectedly from complications of stage four cancer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls.
Billee was born on May 23, 1957, in Great Falls, to Billie "Bill" Greene and April "Bernice" O'Leyar (Holman). She went to Great Falls High School and Dahl's College of Beauty.
Billee worked in a variety of different fields. She worked for Columbus Hospital in food service. She was a head cook in a few facilities in town. One of Billee's most fulfilling careers was working as a family support assistant at Youth Dynamics which she worked for several years. She also worked at AWARE as an advanced habilitation technician. She was a women's advocate at the YWCA before she retired.
Billee is remembered as an amazing woman. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She had an inviting smile that was so warm and welcoming. She often had people stop and talk to her because they felt comfortable with her and felt they had known her their whole life. Everyone called her "mom" whether it was her daughter's friends or people she just met along the way. She was an "adopted" mom to a lot of people. She had always wanted to adopt, but it never came to fruition. God works in mysterious ways because she was a mother to many, even if it was not the way she had planned.
Billee loved being outdoors. She loved camping and fishing and building her rock gardens every summer. Water was her serenity, and it made her feel at peace. She loved camping up in Monarch and Neihart with her family.
Billee was preceded in death by her father, Bill Greene; mother, Bernice O'Leyar; and her stepfather, Max O'Leyar.
Billee is survived by her daughter, Miranda Miller and husband, Rhett Migneault; granddaughter, Eva Migneault; step-granddaughters, Summer Migneault and Rayna Migneault; sister, Sherry (Larry) Davis; and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the upper part of Black Eagle Park. Feel free to bring a side or dessert. |
