Description	:	Our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Billie Jean Davis passed away peacefully on March 10, 2014. Billie was born August 22, 1933 in DeQueen, Arkansas where she spent most of her youth. She was the oldest child of seven born to Jess and Effie Stephens. In 1950, Billie married the love of her life Norman C. Davis, and upon his discharge from the United States Air Force, they moved to the Tri-Cities where Norman started his 42 year career on the Hanford project. This union lasted 52 joyous years. Billie was born August 22, 1933 in DeQueen, Arkansas where she spent most of her youth. She was the oldest child of seven born to Jess and Effie Stephens. In 1950, Billie married the love of her life Norman C. Davis, and upon his discharge from the United States Air Force, they moved to the Tri-Cities where Norman started his 42 year career on the Hanford project. This union lasted 52 joyous years. They meant the world to each other. The most admirable attribute to this marriage was that they were genuinely best friends. Their greatest desire was to please each other. Many people say there is nothing like a mother's love, and they are right. Our mother was a wonderful person who showed love to everyone she came in contact with. She was caring and beautiful inside and out. She loved life, her family, and her friends. Her family was her passion. She always put the wants and needs of others before herself. Her Thanksgivings were legendary bringing in friends and family from miles around. Each and every Thanksgiving visitors walked away with lasting memories of Billie's "cake and pie table" which would annually feature goodies by the dozens! Billie is survived by her daughter Sheila and husband Steve; her son Mike and wife Bonnie; her daughter Karen; her son Kent and wife Brenda; and her son Keith and wife Roberta; and her sisters Judy and Clarice. Billie's grandchildren include Heidi, Erin, Sarah, Nikki, Rick, Sean, Bethany, Vance, Justin, Carrie, Stephanie, Rebekah, Zakary, Jakob, Michael, Matthew, Adam and daughter-in-law, Jeanne. Billie's great grandchildren include Kyler, Stephen and Carter; Briella; Piper and Hadley; Hayden and Audrey; and Daphne and Hunter. Billie is preceded in death by her loving husband Norman C. Davis, her eldest son Stephen "Bear" Davis, and two beautiful granddaughters Kelly Galloway and Julianne Davis; along with her parents Jess and Effie Stephens and siblings Bo, Joyce, Faye, and Norma. We will sure miss you Mom, you passed on your legacy in so many ways. No matter what, when or where… your love was always there.
