Description	:	VALLEY CITY -- Billie L. Tolstad, 65, Valley City, died Feb 11, 2003, at a Fargo hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Valley City, with the Revs. Paul Huso and Mark Ostgarden officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Memory Gardens, Valley City. Billie LaVonne Ledbury was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Bill and Fern (Yeager) Ledbury. She was baptized in Davenport and confirmed in Rock Lake. She moved with her family to Dazey as a child. She graduated from Dazey High School in 1955. On Sept. 2, 1956, she was united in marriage to Ronald Tolstad in Dazey. They moved to Valley City in 1959. She and Ron were co-owners of Ron's Body Shop in Valley City. She served as the church secretary at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Valley City, where she was a member for many years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Billie enjoyed her friends and reading. She was a member of the Eagle's Auxiliary, and a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; four children, Pat (Jeff) France, Loretto, Minn., and their children, Jason (Amanda) and their daughter, Madison, Jessie, Lorrie (Travis) Coker, Ron (Maurine) Tolstad Jr., and Vicki (John) Kopplin, and their children, Matt and Becca; and three sisters, Sharon (Bob) Johnson, Carolyn (Neil) Fisher and Marilyn Rockneberg.
