Surviving is his companion, Iva Dell Roberts; three children, Mary Louise "Cookie" Jones of Omaha, Bill Leslie "Skeeter" (Joan) Jones of Council Bluffs and Joseph (Melody) Jones of Eldon; four step-children, Steven (Renea) Jackson of Given, IA, Dianna Marks of Oskaloosa, Donna (Richard) Tully of Eldon and Linda Jackson (Mike Cox) of Eldon; 17 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren; a brother, Robert Jones of Redding, CA. He was preceded in death by two sons, Roy "Buddy" Jones and Paul Jones; a step-son, Roger Jackson; a sister Ruth Sageser and a half-sister, Marcella Wells. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Paris officiating. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Society Hospice, 1111 N.
