Read More	Billy Lorraine Mongar, son of Elias and Eva (Leeps) Mongar was born January 22, 1934 in Osceola, Iowa and passed from this life on February 19, 2014 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa. He was 80 years old. He received his education in the Osceola schools and graduated from Osceola High School in 1952. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958, serving most of that time in Germany. Other than his years in the Army, he has been a life time resident of Osceola. He married Letitia Utley on July 19, 1959 at the First Christian Church in Osceola. The couple became the parents of four children; Michael, Tammy, Teresa and Larry. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of the First Christian Church in Osceola, Iowa. Before joining the Army, he helped his father in his cement and masonry business. After the Army he was a gas station attendant for five years, a milkman for five years and owned and operated a gas station for four years. His last job was with a heavy moving and rigging company from which he retired on disability in 1989. He enjoyed working with his hands, tinkering and could fix almost anything. He enjoyed working on car motors and especially loved his 1950 and 1957 Fords. He love all animals and when he fed his cats, he tried his best to keep food out for any other animals that might show up. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law; daughter, Tammy; brother, Robert; sister, Roberta in infancy and brother-in-law, Kenneth Ronald "Ron" Utley. Billy is survived by his wife, Letitia "Tish" of Osceola; children; Michael (Stacy)Mongar of Sioux Falls, SD; Teresa Mongar of Venice, FL: Larry (Lori) Mongar of Osceola, IA; grandchildren, Courtney, Jessica and Jacob Mongar of Sioux Falls, SD; Trevor Mongar of Venice, FL; Kayci Mongar of Osceola, IA; Chelsi (Zach) Lamb of Osceola, IA; sister, Karalee (Norman) Cook of Osceola, IA; sisters-in-law, Loretta (Cliff) Reeves of Murray, IA; Margo Utley of Des Moines, IA; Doris Townsend of Osceola, IA; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends
