Mr. Rabon was born July 20, 1948 in Conway S.C., a son of Bernice Altman Rabon and the late James P. Rabon. He was a faithful member of Pisgah United Methodist Church, were he was a dedicated member of the choir and served his church in many capacities. Mr. Rabon was born July 20, 1948 in Conway S.C., a son of Bernice Altman Rabon and the late James P. Rabon. He was a faithful member of Pisgah United Methodist Church, were he was a dedicated member of the choir and served his church in many capacities. Mr. Rabon served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era; he was a graduate of Clemson University and an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Rabon was the owner and operator of Rabon Forestry Services. Surviving are his wife Ann Jones Rabon of the home; his mother Bernice Altman Rabon of Florence; two sons Brian M. Rabon and his wife Jennifer of Aynor; J. Chad Rabon and his wife Morgan of Aynor; one brother Bobby P. Rabon of Florence; two sisters Vera R. Fore of Aynor and Pansy R. Saverance of Florence; four grandchildren Macie Rabon, Emily Rabon, Isabelle Rabon and Blake Rabon all of Aynor, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday May 22, 2009 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Henry Altman officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday May 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church c/o organ fund 1600 Pisgah Church Road Gallivants Ferry SC 29544.
