Description	:	Blanch Edwards Hutchinson was the only child of William Henry Hutchinson B:1826 and Martha Ellen Jeffries B:1843; both from King and Queen County, VA. Blanch married Augustine Montgomery Broach Sept. 22, 1881 in King and Queen Co., Va, at the age of 15. They had twenty one children. All single births, no twins. The house Blanch was born in and three hundred plus acres were given to her by her father. All of her Children were born in the same house. Blanch is buried on the farm, "Sugar Hill Farm or Plantation" with the only head stone back in the woods. Per my grandmother, Rosa, child #3, said that four of her mother's children are buried there also, without headstones---(#9, Zenola (Zennie) Lived eight months, #17, Grace, lived six days, #20, Unnamed Boy died at birth, #21, Leslie). Daughter #12, Beatrice planted a fir tree and put the headstone at her mother's grave. Blanch and Augustine separated but never divorced. Blanch lived in the home place, and Augustine stayed at the Broach Post Office/Store, which he ran. Blanch died at Johnston-Willis Hospital, Richmond, Virginia. At the time of her death, she had 58 grandchildren.
