Description	:	Blanche A. Robertson, age 93 of Malcom, IA, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home following an extended illness. Private Family Services will be held Monday, November 3, 2008. Friends may call from 3 to 5 P.M. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Kloster-Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Memorials may be directed to the family. Blanche Agnes Wiese was born April 4, 1915 in Portsmouth, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Ollie B. Neubauer Wiese. The family moved several times during her childhood. She was united in marriage with Harry Robertson on February 20, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa. The couple resided in Malcom and four children were born to this union. Blanche was a homemaker who tended to the needs of her children and enjoyed her grandchildren. She found strength in her family and was known to have a humorous disposition. Her son James tended and cared for her for over 20 years.
