Description	:	MADISON - Blanche C. Pomelow, 88, of Madison, peacefully went to rest surrounded by loving family on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at a local nursing home. She was born on Oct. 2, 1924, in Starks, the daughter of John B. and Clara (Yeaton) Wood. Blanche was raised and educated in Starks, the last survivor of 13 children. She later met Lawrence Pomelow while working in Madison, and on June 30, 1945, they were married. Throughout her life, Blanche was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her flowers, gardening, and enjoyed her daily walks and spending time with her family.... Read More	MADISON - Blanche C. She was born on Oct. 2, 1924, in Starks, the daughter of John B. and Clara (Yeaton) Wood. Blanche was raised and educated in Starks, the last survivor of 13 children. She later met Lawrence Pomelow while working in Madison, and on June 30, 1945, they were married. Throughout her life, Blanche was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her flowers, gardening, and enjoyed her daily walks and spending time with her family. She was also a lifelong member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Madison. Blanche is reunited with her husband, Lawrence, and son Stanley, with the Lord. She will be lovingly missed by her four children, Walden, of Illinois, Rodney and wife Dee, of Texas, Brenda Page and husband Dale, of Glenburn, and Gloria Harlow and husband Rick, of Skowhegan; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
