Description	:	LEAVENWORTH - Blanche E. Kunstman, 68, a longtime resident of Leavenworth, died Saturday afternoon, March 2, 1996, in Cascade Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1927, to John J. and Myrtle M. Egbert in Grace, Idaho, and at the age of 6 months moved with her parents to Leavenworth, where she attended school, graduating from Leavenworth High School in 1945. Kunstman, 68, a longtime resident of Leavenworth, died Saturday afternoon, March 2, 1996, in Cascade Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1927, to John J. and Myrtle M. Egbert in Grace, Idaho, and at the age of 6 months moved with her parents to Leavenworth, where she attended school, graduating from Leavenworth High School in 1945. She moved to Tulare, Calif., where she was employed in the local school. On Jan. 23, 1950, she married Fred K. Kunstman in Carson City, Nev., and they made their home in various locations around the United States and the world following his career in the U.S. Air Force. Following his retirement in 1978, they moved to Leavenworth, where she was employed for many years at Der Ritterhof Motor Inn as a receptionist. She retired in 1989. Mrs. Kunstman was a member of the Leavenworth Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 4296, a volunteer in the Cascade School District and very active in the Church Relief Society and community affairs. Survivors include five brothers, Dean Patterson of Salem, Ore., Riley Beckstead of Coulee City, Jack Egbert of Bountiful, Utah, Clair Egbert of Bloomfield, Conn., and Claude Egbert of Tacoma; three sisters, Anna Wilson of Salmon, Idaho, Edna Glasgow of Hueytown, Alabama, and LaRue Schmidt of Bothell; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1985, two infant daughters, her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Ward's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
