Description	:	Blanche E. Postovit, 85, Lake Isabel, died May 21, 1994, at her home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Hensel Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, and will continue at the church one hour before services. Blanche E. Eidem was born Nov. 15, 1908, in Blaisdell, the daughter of Olaf and Augusta (Oksur) Eidem. She was raised and educated in country schools. She graduated from Plaza High School. She attended Mayville State Teachers College, graduating with a teachers certificate. She taught in rural schools near Plaza for two years. Blanche moved to Max where she and three of her sisters owned and operated a hotel and cafe for three years. She then went on to business college in Minot. She worked for North Dakota State Highway Department for four years. She married Bill Postovit, June 28, 1941, in Jamestown. They lived in Bismarck until 1976. They enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona, and the summers at Lake Isabel. Blanche was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and other organizations with the church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, square dancing and round dancing. She is survived by her husband, Bill; one daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Terry Peterson, Bloomington, Minn.; one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Julie, Williston; six grandchildren, Steven and Tara Postovit, Williston, Jana Postovit, Eagan, Minn., Joy Postovit, Columbia, Mo., Scott Peterson, Kearney, Neb., and Jeffrey Peterson, Bloomington; two sisters, Freda Reed, Billings, Mont., and Gudren Farah, Lake Oswego, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Joseph; two brothers, Reidel and Arnold; two sisters, Doris Reimers and Christine Farah.
