Description	:	Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, for Blanche M. Paulus Whitmyre, 99, 108 N. Franklin St., Mentone. The Rev. Jeffrey Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. The Order of Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Whitmyre died at 5:25 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louise Kinsey, 108 N. Franklin St., Mentone. She was born in Paulding, Ohio, to Hiram D. and C Catherine Sands Timberman. In 1915, in Silver Lake, she married Cloice Paulus, who preceded her in death. In 1957, in Emhurst, Ill., she married Jesse O. Whitmyre, who preceded her in death. She was a resident of Mentone for 38 years, a resident of Roann for 22 years and a resident of Rochester for 11 years. For the past five years she has lived with her daughter in Mentone. She was a homemaker and attended Grace United Methodist Church, Rochester. She was a member of the Order of Easter Star, Rochester, Mothers of World War II (Gold Star mother), American Legion Auxiliary and Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. G. Louise Kinsey, Mentone; one son, Eldred Bud and wife Juanita Paulus, Rochester; four grandchildren, Jay Paulus, Napervile, Ill.; Brent Paulus, Plymouth, Mich.; Carolyn Paulus Woodman, Stanford, Conn.; and Rita Paulus Funk, Rochester; five great-grandchildren, Jill and Duane Paulus, Addison, Ill.; Amanda L. Paulus, Plymouth, Mich.; and Daniel and Brian Funk, Rochester. Preceding in death were one daughter, Valador Paulus; two sons, Corlyss J. Paulus, who died in 1945 during World War II; and Coryle K. Paulus, who died Nov. 28, 1995; one grandson, Kent Paulus, and several sisters and brothers. Published in the Rochester News-Sentinel, December 19, 1995.
