Description	:	Last Saturday, July 15, 1922, at the old home in Brooks, the funeral of Mrs. Frank B. Hinds, of Kansas City, Missouri, was held on the lawn under the whispering pines she had known from infancy. The funeral sermon was given by Mr. Dicks of the Villisca Advent Church. Interment was at the family cemetery at Nodaway. A large concourse of old friends and neighbors attended. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Hinds, of Kansas City, Missouri, was held on the lawn under the whispering pines she had known from infancy. The funeral sermon was given by Mr. Dicks of the Villisca Advent Church. Blanche, youngest daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth White, was born in Brooks, Iowa, June 22, 1878, and was forty-four years and 20 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Frank B. Hinds, of Kansas City, October 12,1915. The immediate cause of her death was an operation of a serious nature which occurred at the Grace Hospital in that city, Wednesday, July 12th. She had not made her home in Brooks for almost a quarter of a century, but there still remain many of her old time friends and classmates, who will recall her kind and affectionate disposition and regret her untimely passing. She was a member of the Christian Church, with which she united when a child. The father, Alfred White, an early pioneer, of Adams County has been deceased many years. The mother, Mrs. W.D. Bryson, still lives at the old homestead. The following brothers and sister also remain to mourn her loss; Charles White, Plainview, Texas; Frank, Arthur and Floyd White of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Fred of Brooks; Mrs. Chrome Hupp, of Los Angeles, California.
