She enjoyed picking up pecans, crocheting, gardening, and read her Bible religiously. She was born June 19, 1930 in Izard County, the daughter of Troy and Linnie (McCurley) Sherrell. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker, and a member of the Airbase Church of Christ. She enjoyed picking up pecans, crocheting, gardening, and read her Bible religiously. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Elmer Fisher; two sons, Jimmy Dewayne Money and Gary Don Money; three brothers, James, Jackie, and H.T. Sherrell; three sisters, Nana Batson, Helen Melton, and Goldie Wilson; and her parents. She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Jean Turner of Bradford; one step-daughter, Jennie Tapp of Bald Knob; grandchildren, Jackie Johnson and husband, John “Boy” Johnson of Faulk, Arkansas; Crystal Foust and husband, Ricky of Shreveport, Louisiana; Charletta Turner, and Morgan Turner; and many great and great-great grandchildren. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Blue Springs Cemetery.
