Description	:	Bobby Joe (Dit) Arms, 78, of Taylors, SC, died August 18, 2012 at his home. A native of Greer, he was a son of the late Archie L. Arms and Euna (Sudduth) Arms. A retired employee of Cintas, he was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church, Tyger Masonic Lodge #190, and a US Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Plyna Mae (Polly) Poole Arms; a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Benjie Farmer of Greer; a brother, John W. Arms of Greer and a granddaughter, Ashley Farmer. A native of Greer, he was a son of the late Archie L. Arms and Euna (Sudduth) Arms. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Eppley and Cordie Bates. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Camp Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. John Sullivan, Dr. David Boyter, and Rev. Carroll Poole. Burial followed in the church cemetery with military honors. Visitation was held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at the church prior to the service. Honorary escort was the men from Camp Creek Baptist Church, the Rental Uniform Old Timers, and the 1952 Graduating Class of Jordan High School. The family expressed special thanks for the valiant efforts of the Lake Cunningham Fire Department and the Greenville County EMS.
