Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Mr. Welch was born in Florence County, the son of the late Foster M. and Ada Carroway Welch. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Mr. Welch was born in Florence County, the son of the late Foster M. and Ada Carroway Welch. He was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, member of the Everette Oliver Sunday School Class; also a member of Oak Grove Masonic Lodge # 378. Mr. Welch was a Brick Mason by trade. Other work and interest include farming, fishing, gardening, traveling to the Smokey Mountains and gospel music. He was a loving husband and father and Loved his LORD. Survivors are his devoted wife of 50 years Betty Todd Welch, Timmonsville; a son, Bobby Joe Bob Welch, Jr. and his wife Cindy, Timmonsville, two sisters, Launa Odom, Florence, Jackie Langston and her husband Franklin, Timmonsville and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother Herschell Welch and a sister Bernice Langston. Memorials may be made to Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, 4071 Creek Rd, Timmonsville or McLeod Hospice, P O Box 100551, Florence, SC 29501.
