Description	:	Bobby John Davis, 87 of Rison, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at The Green House Cottages of Southern Hills. He was born February 15, 1932 in Rison to the late Waymon and Ola Gracie Davis. He was a 21 year veteran with the United States Navy, serving two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea; was retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad as a machinist; was a member of the VFW, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, American Legion and was of the Baptist faith. He was born February 15, 1932 in Rison to the late Waymon and Ola Gracie Davis. He also loved to hunt, fish and play golf. Also preceding him death were a brother, Waymon Davis, Jr., sister, Mary Ellen Davis Cuthbertson; and a sister-in-law, Kay Davis. Survivors include his wife, Yoshino Koga Davis; two brothers, Benny (Sue) Davis and David (Frances) Davis, all of Rison and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services are 10:30AM Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison with Bro. Danny Allen and Bro. John Fulmer officiating. Visitation is 10:00-10:30AM Saturday at the cemetery. Pallbearers are Ross Davis, Micky Davis, Caleb Davis, Trey Bowlin, Jimmy Bowlin, Jay England, Dan Spadoni and JR England. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
