Mr. Crocker was born in Union County, SC, August 16, 1932, a son of the late David Artice Crocker and Thelma Garner Crocker. He was a graduate of Whitmire High School and had attended Presbyterian College. Mr. Crocker was a member of Whitmire Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder and Elder Emeritus. He retired from Cone Mills, John Wolfe Division, and was owner and operator of The Frame Shop in Whitmire. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Beth Crocker; a son, Mickey Crocker and wife Carol all of Greenville; four grandchildren: Rett Crocker, Rebekah Crocker, Andrew Crocker and Shaw Crocker all of Greenville and an aunt, Viola O'Dell of Union. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Whitmire Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Sanders Read and Rev. Marion Boozer. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.
