Description	:	Bobby Ray Thomas, 67, husband of Anne Wiggins Thomas, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Thomas was born October 24, 1948, in Charleston, a son of the late Peter Roland Thomas and the late Vernie Lambert Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He... Read More	Bobby Ray Thomas, 67, husband of Anne Wiggins Thomas, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Thomas was born October 24, 1948, in Charleston, a son of the late Peter Roland Thomas and the late Vernie Lambert Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Vietnam Conflict where he received many medals including the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Rifle Expert Badge, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Bronze Star. He was retired from the Georgetown Steel Mill, and he attended Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, raising animals, and shooting pool, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was survived by his wife of Georgetown; three children, Mark (Cindy) Thomas of Jamestown, Damein (Kelli) Thomas of Andrews, and Kalib (Ashley) Thomas of Andrews; seven grandchildren, Josh Holseberg, Tyler Thomas, Gabriel Thomas, Logan Thomas, Kylie Thomas, Caiden Thomas, and Sadie Thomas; a sister, Barbara T. (Stanley) Wilson of Georgetown; two brothers, Wayne (Martha) Thomas and Ronnie Thomas, both of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Quantral Thomas, and a brother, Roland Thomas. Funeral services were Sunday, January 31, 2016, in Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Following the service, burial with military honors was directed by Ridgeway Funeral Home in Alford-Wiggins Cemetery.
