Description	:	Bonnetta J. Jameson, age 90 of Kearney, formerly of Amherst, died on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Mother Hull Home in Kearney. Services will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney. Pastor Dean Pofahl will officiate and burial will be at Stanley Cemetery near Amherst, NE. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and also 1 hour prior to services on Thursday all at the funeral home. Bonnetta was born on August 28, 1927 in Lexington, NE to John C. and Hazel A. (Scott) Furby. She attended Odessa High School and graduated in 1945. She briefly attended Kearney State College and then married Harvey G. Jameson on June 6, 1948 in Amherst, NE. Bonnetta was a member of the Amherst United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary in Miller, the HOP Club and also a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She was a dedicated and hard worker on the family farm willing to help wherever she was needed. She enjoyed quilting, embrodiary, ceramics and gardening. Bonnetta also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving relatives include her children and their spouses, Clifford Jameson of Kearney, Carolyn and Mark McNish of Ravenna, NE, Cheryl and Dennis Shonka of Leigh, NE and Curtis Jameson of Amherst, NE; sister, Doris and Alvin Blumanhourst of Cozad, NE; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren Bonnetta was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; brother, Donald Furby; daughter in law, Lois Jameson
