She was born December 14,1928, in Milford to Floyd and Ruth (Ackerman) Roll. Miss Roll grew up in Milford and was a 1953 graduate of Milford High School. After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper at the Milford Trade School She later attended Southwestern Assembly of God College and assisted in developing new churches in Syracuse and Fairbury. Read More	Bonnibel "Bonni" Roll Obit Bonnibel "Bonni" Roll 74, of Glendale, Ariz, formerly of Milford, died May 7 in Glendale. She was born December 14,1928, in Milford to Floyd and Ruth (Ackerman) Roll. Miss Roll grew up in Milford and was a 1953 graduate of Milford High School. After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper at the Milford Trade School She later attended Southwestern Assembly of God College and assisted in developing new churches in Syracuse and Fairbury. After that she became Nebraska's first full-time Sunday School Co-Director with Loretta (Lebsack) Blauvelt. Together they promoted and taught Sunday School teacher training classes and programs for Nebraska churches. She also directed Kids Kamps during this time. Her many years as a missionary began in Ghana, West Africa, where she started the Sunday School program. Working with Peggy Scott, Miss Roll stated a C A. Program, wrote Sunday School quarterlies, managed the printing press, taught at Southern Ghana Bible Institute, helped found a new church, coordinated the Teaching Ministry & Literature Program, which involved all of West Africa and conducted Sunday School teacher training programs and conferences across Africa. She continued her missionary work in Southeast Asia, where she worked with Fran Bonham founding a Sunday School Program in Thailand. She also wrote literature, and taught at Bangkok Theological Center and conducted numerous seminars called "Operation Teach", in eight countries of Asia. Miss Roll also created RICE (Real-life Institute of Christian Education) in the Philippines. In 1994 she moved back to the United States and resided m Phoenix, Ariz., where she belonged to the Church On The Street. There she taught Bible instruction classes, devised and taught Teachers Training on how to teach and preach and ministered with VV.O. W. (Women of the Word), a women's Bible study, for 11 years at North Freeway Assembly of God Church. Miss Roll is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Norman and JoAnn Roll of Mesa, Ariz.; niece, Linda and Craig Wallace, Claremont, Calif, nephews, Larry and Annette Roll, Santa Clara, Calif and Gary and Debbie Roll of Alta Loma, Calif.; six grand nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held May 13 at the Milford Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jim Wilkins officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Milford. Pallbearers were Lyle Neal, Steve Kremer, Cliff Irwin, Gerald Eigsti, Larry Kness and Gene Roll. Music was provided by Michael Hershberger, accompanied by Bonnie Miller and Margaret Ackerman. Memorials have been established to the Fire Bibles for the Mongolians or Hospice of the Valley. Lauber-Moore Funeral Home of Milford was in charge of the arrangements.
