Description	:	Funeral services for Bonnie Geary, age 85, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Pastor Leon Rosenthal will officiate, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk. Bonnie passed away peacefully at her residence with her loving children around her. Bonnie Jean Geary, daughter of Harold and Rose (Leu) Miller, was born August 19, 1932, at Norfolk, Nebraska. On December 31, 1950, Bonnie was united in marriage to Willard L. Geary at Madison, Nebraska. They were blessed with three children, Steve, Jana, and Jeff. Bonnie worked as a meat wrapper at various grocery stores and as a sales clerk at JC Penney. She was also employed at Sherwood Medical for 20 years. Bonnie was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Norfolk. She was active in the Ladies Aid and the food pantry. Bonnie loved driving her Oldsmobile's, arranging flowers and giving them as gifts, cooking for family and friends, dancing and camping in Colorado. She also enjoyed attending home Husker Football games and numerous country music concerts at the Nebraska State fair (especially Alabama) and taking trips. Bonnie loved her family immensely and spending time with them was her greatest joy. Bonnie is survived by her sons, Steve Geary and Jeff Geary of Norfolk, Nebraska; daughter, Jana (Don) Smith of Norfolk; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willard; her parents, Harold and Rose; her three brothers, Donald, Kenneth, and Jerry; and her sister, Mary.
