Description	:	Bonnie Jean (Munz) Jump left this earth to be reunited with loved ones in heaven on December 30, 2020. Born to Victor and Mary Munz on January 18, 1936, Bonnie spent her early years on her parent's dairy farm on Bender Road. Bonnie attended college at what is now known as CWU, graduating with a degree in teaching. She taught elementary school on the White Swan Indian Reservation and at Lourdes Academy in Ellensburg. Read More	Bonnie Jean (Munz) Jump left this earth to be reunited with loved ones in heaven on December 30, 2020. Born to Victor and Mary Munz on January 18, 1936, Bonnie spent her early years on her parent's dairy farm on Bender Road. Bonnie attended college at what is now known as CWU, graduating with a degree in teaching. She taught elementary school on the White Swan Indian Reservation and at Lourdes Academy in Ellensburg. Her working career included times at ONC Freight Co., the Valley Clinic, Wells Fargo Bank. Bonnie was elected to Kittitas County Treasurer, a position she retired from in 2001. Bonnie met Larry Jump and attended a Valentine's Day dance with him on their first date. They were married on June 6, 1959. They had three children; Barbara, Lori, and Shane. Bonnie and Larry enjoyed visiting family and friends, playing cards, and some traveling, but they loved to dance. What a sight they were on the dance floor- fluid and graceful, with big smiles on their faces. Larry passed away in December of 1998 - and we can certainly take hope in the fact that they are dancing together again. After retirement Bonnie traveled extensively. She went on trips with Shane and his family to Wallace Idaho for snowmobiling, with Lori to enjoy theatre performances and book signings, weekends with Barbara's family exploring central Washington, and many trips with friends to places like Lake Havasu, Las Vegas, and the New England states. Her favorite travel partner was her sister, Irene, with whom she traveled many places, including Europe. They were able to spend time in England, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany and Rome. Bonnie volunteered as a Camp Fire leader, friend of Hospice, for Western Art Shows, and at Jazz in the Valley. She was a long-time member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. She loved jewelry and "sparkled" from the joy of owning pretty rings and things. One of Bonnie's favorite treats was a cheeseburger and chocolate milkshake, which daughter in law Patty delivered every Friday for years. She had an amazing sense of humor - which she retained until the end. Shane is sure if you were to look up the definition of "strong woman" in the dictionary you will find a picture of Bonnie there. She was honest, hardworking, compassionate and loving, and lived with grace. The last three years Bonnie has lived at Tuscany Cottage in Malaga, WA. The time at the Cottage was a blessing for Bonnie as well as her family. The family is extremely grateful to the caregivers and owners who have provided loving care in a family home atmosphere. Bonnie leaves children Barbara (Jim) Davis, Lori Jump, and Shane (Patty) Jump; grandchildren Nate (Britanee) Davis, Amanda (Davis) Johnson, Jacob (Rosa) Davis, Kylee Johnson, Kolton Jump, and DJ Jump; great grandchildren Chloe Davis, Trey Davis, Ava Johnson, Claire Johnson, Ella Johnson, and JD Lopez; sister Irene (Walt) Jackson, niece Heather Jackson, multiple cousins, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the Jump family, and countless friends. She joins her mother, father, beloved husband Larry, and grandson Jesse Davis. No services are planned at this time, but the family hopes to celebrate Bonnie's life later in the year.
