In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ayers was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Millard Ayers; son, Roger Ayers and an infant daughter; brother, Richard Rogers and brother-in-law, Wallace Smith. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Howell Funeral Chapel of Mount Airy with interment to follow in the Hunters Chapel Cemetery, Ararat, VA. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunters Chapel Cemetery, C/O Annie B. Tolbert, P.O.
